A truly phenomenal end to the trilogy. At the Threshold of the Universe is my favorite trilogy. so many answers. I understood the characters and their reasons better – everything fell into place. the world is still growing. the action and combat are excellently written. character work was done perfectly. I really love being a part of Kamaria. And the world will stay with me. “.. if you show yourself to others, they may not like what they see. But if you hide yourself – keep yourself small – you will never find people who see the beauty in you. Beauty does not exist in darkness. ” hit me right in the heart. Thank you T.A for a wonderful world with wonderful people and other creatures.

I am a huge fan of this series and it comes to a surprising conclusion. Bruno not only wraps up the storyline, but creates this incredibly intense backdrop for the events leading up to the start of the first novel and the eventual collapse of the solar system. There’s just the right balance of nostalgia and forward motion to bring everything together and bring Kamaria’s Song to an epic conclusion! I didn’t think he would take the characters for granted, but was not prepared for how terrible this book was. The depth of suffering in the final battle for humanity… Actually maybe fitting, I wouldn’t like the book if he did anything less. I love how I bite my nails the whole book for the characters. Extinction is a very reasonable conclusion as things get bleaker and bleaker for the remaining humans – and I’m not letting out my figurative breath until it’s over. That said – you all already know that this scene plays like a movie. Everything is arranged for the imagination and experience of the author in the cinema and visual stories is clear as the war rages between quiet moments in the magical atmosphere of Kamaria. It sounds like scifi on a fantasy planet and it works here. The back story is my favorite part. Cade was able to learn the history of Undriel through the eyes of the leader and general and now we finally know how the machines started and why they are pushing humans out of the solar system. There are a few curve balls to keep it interesting and he won’t bring down the overall feel and tone of the rest of the book. Nella separately learned the history of the Sirens and I will admit that this part went a bit over my head with the timeline and tasks. It had its moments and hey, now we know. Many characters in this series are unforgettable in life and death. In war, some deaths are heroic and others are useless. I love how it is reflected as well as how the memories are brought forward. The chapter sections and artwork are another added touch that makes this look like a classic scifi read. General…. I mean this is one of my favorite independent publishing series and I think he makes a completely fair conclusion. It’s action-packed, cinematic, emotional, epic in scope, and you just want to protect the entire human race from further harm. I think giving Talulo the last words of Song and Cade the epilogue is a nice touch too, we can’t forget how much the Auk’nai have lost too. 100% would not hesitate to recommend this series to anyone! Thanks again to Escapist Book Tours and the author for taking me on the tour!

4.5 stars The Kamaria Song Trilogy has been an absolute feast and delight. I rarely find myself so invested in the characters and the world they live in that I’m so excited to see how everything will turn out. At The Threshold of The Universe, the third and final book exceeded all expectations that I had somehow conjured up in my mind. T.A. Bruno chose to write this novel strategically to connect all the dots from the trilogy and come out with a bang. It successfully combines important ideas and plotlines while providing a fast-paced thrill ride that doesn’t let up. It made me want to read the whole story because many parts of the book reminded me of things I remembered from other books and wondered if I could pick up clues for this novel. It created an immediate urge to revisit previous stories just to check if I missed any clues. All the books in the trilogy have a very character-oriented and family-oriented center to them. It was something that stood out to me from the beginning and I fell in love with the Castus family and the story of their generation immediately. They are the kind of people with whom you can deal with in good times or call in an emergency, even if you have not heard from them for an age, they will be there for you and each other. The way you write about great family relationships and deliver incredible sci-fi content, with creepy scenes and amazing story arcs, still amazes me. T.A. Bruno’s recipe for success, I believe, is the time he invests in the characters he creates and gives each of them enough time on the floor and makes them matter in some way, if you will, indispensable. At The Threshold of the Universe is a fast-paced thrill ride that takes place where Denton and Eliana search for their missing children Nella and Castus. All we know so far is that the Auk’nai are still guarding the Daunoren egg after the brutal murder in the last book. Nhymn, Sympha and Karx of the Voyalten become very important in this third novel and help people to overcome the important figures of Undirel. At first I was very worried about the involvement and connection these Voyalten made with Nella and Castus, but in a great twist they were the least of my worries. Undriel’s unfolding history is perfectly plotted and magically twisted….AND, there is a villain in the story that makes everything better! Just like in the first book, I love this event. There are some really crazy and inventive things going on in this novel that blew my mind. T.A. Bruno advances technology and intrigue to another level and I can’t share anymore or I’ll spoil a really big component. Just saying, join everyone, join! “He continued: “Tell me what’s worse. Missing your son even though he’s killing you inside, or not missing him with a smile on your face? As always, the entire Castus team will roll up their sleeves, split up and do what needs to be done. There are several major catastrophes threatening humanity and each member of the Castus family is fighting at different points. Nella, a character I’ve loved since the beginning because she has special needs, is great in her role here…although you might have to get your tissues out because the storyline has some tragic moments in it. However, Castus takes the cake. He only had an accident and had to carry a very heavy burden. What happened to him moves me…however, I think every young person dreams of a story like this in space. With a big spotlight on him in this book, I like his character almost as much as his father Denton, for whom my heart fell in book one. “I can tell you exactly what kind of rage fills this Navy. I could write a long paper on the rage of every survivor, every daughter
